Country music star Jimmy Allen dropped two bombs on Friday.
The 37-year-old Music Artist shared on social media that he and his wife Alexis Gil are expecting their third child and are separating.
In a formal note written in white handwriting on a black background, he said, “After much consideration and reflection in recent months, Lex and I have made the decision to separate.”
The singer added, “As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will welcome another child together later this year.”
The couple, who wed in May 2021, already share daughters Naomi Betty, 3, and Zara James, 18 months.

Allen already has an eight-year-old son named Aden from a previous relationship.
“Our number one priority is, and always will be, ensuring that our children are healthy, happy and loved,” the playmaker added.
