Holly Willoughby has given fans an update on her shingles recovery as she revealed she was venturing out for the first time since being stricken with the painful condition.
The 42-year-old presenter took to Instagram on Saturday morning to share a photo of her dog Bailey and commented, “And I’m out of the house!”, indicating that she is now doing well.
Holly shared her excitement about being out in nature again, adding to her caption, “the birds are putting on quite a show today… spring sounds beautiful.”
Her positive message was met with an abundance of well-wishes from fans, with many excited that she had recovered enough to finally return to This Morning.
Holly’s health update comes amid news she’s up to returned to This Morning on Monday after being stricken with shingles.

The television personality told her fans she “felt so much better” on Friday, after being absent all week while recovering from the illness.
She was due to welcome 61-year-old Phillip Schofield to the ITV daytime show’s famed couch, after he took time off amid his brother Tim’s sexual assault trial.
Former The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes, 34, stood in front of Holly next to Phillip after Holly told fans on Sunday she was unwell, but it has been confirmed she will be back next week.
She wrote on Instagram, “Hello… Just want to let you know I may be gone for the rest of the week because I have shingles.
‘I’ll be back as soon as I’m better. Big love, Holly xxx’
An ITV representative confirmed Holly’s return to MailOnline, while Holly’s co-star Alison Hammond also announced her return at the end of Friday’s show when she said: ‘On Monday’s show Holly will be back so don’t worry. She’ll be here on Monday!’

The host took to her Instagram Stories to thank fellow This Morning star Dermot O’Leary, 49, for sending her some soup and a Reuben sandwich as she recovered.
Sharing part of her meal, she wrote, “Thank you @dermotoleary for the sweetest delivery of chicken soup and cured beef… just what I needed.”
‘I feel so much better. Thank you all for your good wishes.’
Holly’s confirmation that she was on the mend comes after fans of This Morning predicted she would leave the show after missing Phillip Schofield’s return.
Rochelle was parachuted in as a replacement for Holly on the 11th hour on Monday after the presenter confirmed she had been stricken with shingles.
With Holly forced to stay home until her symptoms cleared up, Rochelle was there to welcome Phillip back to This Morning after his own long absence.
