NNA – Today, Pope Francis called for dialogue in the face of the dangerous situation in Sudan, at a time when the battles between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces entered their second week, according to “Agence France-Presse”.
The Pope said during Sunday Mass at St. Peter’s Square: “Unfortunately, the situation remains dangerous in Sudan, and for this reason I renew my call to stop the violence as soon as possible and to resume dialogue.”
“I invite everyone to pray for our Sudanese brothers and sisters,” he added.
