Ukrainian soldiers resisting the barbaric Russian invasion celebrated Anzac Day on the front line.
A short video clip shows a group of Ukrainian soldiers carrying the Australian and Ukrainian flags while reciting a poem of remembrance on the front line in Donbass on the Monday before Anzac Day on Tuesday.
Over the sound of gunfire, soldiers shouted “Lest we forget”, as they stood in front of an Australian-made Bushmaster military vehicle.
Since the invasion began, Australia has donated nearly $700 million in support, $510 million of which is related to the military.
They include 90 Bushmasters, 28 armored vehicles, anti-armor weapons, howitzers, and ammunition.
Australia is the third largest non-NATO donor country to defend Ukraine against Russia.

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry paid tribute to the vehicles in a video earlier this month, saying, “Since our friends down below gave us bush masters last year, our soldiers can’t stop babbling about how great these rigs are at defeating the Russians.”
However, said retired military officer and national security expert Ian Langford hv news Ukraine is eyeing a new Bushmaster, the smaller Hawkei model.
“It can be used for missions that include facilities, reconnaissance, communications and command and control,” he said.
‘A Bushmaster is a protected mobility vehicle that can carry up to a section of up to nine people, including the driver and gunner.
“It’s really that (Hawkeye) vehicle that provides the ability for ground forces to move, as well as the ability to communicate both in a network but also in a maneuvering context.”

Ukraine’s ambassador to Australia, Vasyl Miroshnichenko, said the Hook family would help save more Ukrainian lives.
“It’s not just about the shopping list, hockey is one of the items we’re asking for and many other things Australia can support for Ukraine,” he said.
“It is important that this support continues.”
Ukrainian Defense Minister Dr Yuriy Sak also commented on the matter, saying: “We associate Australia with bushmasters, not kangaroos and koalas.”
