NNA – Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, on Thursday received in his office at the ministry, the Special Envoy of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hanzy Escobar, in the presence of Spanish Ambassador to Lebanon, Jesús Ignacio Santos Aguado, and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Spain, Hermogenes Lopez.
Discussions touched on supporting the candidacy of the Spanish city of Malaga to host Expo 2027.
Caretaker Minister Bou Habib later received a delegation from the International Freedom of Religion and Belief Alliance, currently visiting Lebanon at the invitation of the Adyan Foundation.
The delegation expressed support for the Lebanese people, stressing “the importance of Lebanon in terms of coexistence and diversity among its people,” and hailing “Lebanon’s efforts to preserve freedom of belief.”
