CALIFORNIA – Numerous people were wounded after reports of a shooting at Peck Park in San Pedro Sunday afternoon. The scene is in the 560 block of N. Western Avenue.
“At least four civilians are reported to be injured,” the LA Fire Department said, “possibly related to gunfire heard at or near a car show at Peck Park. The circumstances, total number of patients and precise nature of their injuries has yet to be confirmed.”
Shortly after the incident, the LAPD issued a citywide tactical alert.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the gunfire of if any suspects were in custody.
