The branch indicated in its statement today that earthquakes measuring 4.2 degrees were recorded and felt by the residents of the Ust-Kamchatsky region, according to quot;Russia Todayquot;.

The statement said: quot;The residents of the Ust-Kamchatsky region felt this afternoon an earthquake measuring four degrees. The magnitude of the tremors reached 4.2 degrees in the epicenter, which occurred 30 km from the town of Ust-Kamchatsky.quot;

According to the statement, the epicenter of the earthquake occurred at a depth of four kilometers under the mountain range.

According to the Emergency Situations Directorate of the Kamchatka region, no injuries or destruction were recorded in the residential centers in the region, and no tsunami risk was declared.
