NNA – In an issued statement on Sunday, the Progressive Socialist Party strongly condemned the heinous crime that claimed the lives of two young men from the Tawknbsp;family in the town of Bsharre,nbsp;and offered sincerest condolences to their families and the people of the region.
The party called for quot;raising the voice of reason, calm and wisdom,quot; stressing quot;the need to relynbsp;on the state and its relevant security services to reveal the truth of what happened, and handnbsp;over the perpetrators to the concerned judiciary to impose the necessary penalties on them.quot;
It also called for quot;addressing the reasons that led to the incidentnbsp;in order to cut off any premeditated attempts that may aim to stir-up the seeds of sedition.quot;
