Rachel Recchia cried after feeling unseen and confronted the remaining men about whether they cared about her at all on Monday’s episode of The Bachelorette.
The 26-year-old flight instructor was still reeling from being rejected three times during the last ceremony while also coping with feelings of inadequacy following her split from Clayton Echard, 29, on season 26 of The Bachelor.
‘At this point, I want to feel chosen,’ Rachel tearfully said in a confessional. ‘I’m not here to beg these guys to act like they want me.’

‘I don’t know why I feel more insecure, more desperate on this side of being on the Bachelorette than the side of being a contestant on Clayton’s season,’ Rachel added. ‘I don’t know how I’m supposed to fall in love when I’m having mostly bad days. I don’t feel like I deserve to be the Bachelorette.’

It wasn’t the only time that Rachel felt rejected during the two-hour episode on ABC.
When the show opened, Nate Mitchell, 33, an electrical engineer from Chicago, revealed that Hayden Markowitz, 29, a leisure executive from Florida, said some ‘untoward things’ ‘ about Rachel and co-bachelorette Gabby Windey, 31, an ICU nurse from O’Fallon, Illinois.

James ‘Meatball’ Clarke, 25, a meatball enthusiast from Winnetka, Illinois, said in a confessional that he thought Hayden was being disrespectful.

Show host Jesse Palmer, 43, walked in and told all the men they were flying to France and also that two of the men would be going straight on a one-on-one date in Paris.

Gabby picked Jason Alabaster, 30, an investment banker from Santa Monica, California, for her date and Rachel picked Tino Franco, 28, a general contractor from Playa Del Rey, California, for hers. Gabby and Rachel discussed in a cafe what happened at the last rose ceremony.
‘It really was the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to me,’ Rachel said in a confessional. ‘I have a huge fear that men in my group might not even be interested in me and will want to switch over to pursue Gabby.’

Tino and Jason met Rachel and Gabby for their dates. Tino and Rachel strolled through the streets of Paris and made crepes together.
‘I’m on cloud nine,’ Tino said in a confessional. ‘I can’t imagine a better day.’

Gabby and Jason went on their date together. Gabby later told Rachel she was in love with Jason. Rachel said she also had an amazing date.
‘Paris is just insane. It does something to you,’ Rachel said.
Rachel spoke to Tino about career.
‘Your passion for your career, it just lights me up inside,’ Tino said.
‘I really like you, and that scares me,’ Rachel said and gave him a rose.
Gabby spoke to Jason about how therapy helped her deal with her estrangement from her mother. Jason shared how he also used therapy to help him. Gabby gave Jason a rose.

Gabby had her men battle it out in a boxing ring for their group date.
‘I think I’m worth fighting for,’ Gaby said in a confessional.
Rachel brought her men to see the boxing matches and became upset when none of her men made eye contact with her.

Spencer Swiss, 27, a graduate student from Chicago, won the competition and Gabby gave him the rose.
For her group date, Rachel had her men practice flirting.
Logan Palmer, 26, a videographer from San Diego, said in a confessional that he didn’t feel a strong connection with Rachel.

Rachel picked Tyler Norris, 25, a small business owner from Wildwood, New Jersey, for a one on one.
‘I came here for you,’ Tyler said.

At the cocktail party before the final rose ceremony, Logan announced to all the men that he planned on coming forward with some ‘honest truths.’

‘He’s one of the most important things in my life,’ said Hayden, 29, a leisure executive from Tampa.
He said his dog got diagnosed with brain cancer and only had a few months to live. Tino then walked over and said he wanted to talk to Rachel. Hayden later told Meatball that he was upset.
‘What I would have expected from Rachel is to give me a minute, not get up quicker than she sat down,’ Hayden said.

‘He just lies, and I feel very taken advantage of because this last rose ceremony was very difficult,’ Rachel said in a confessional. ‘ Only the next day, call me a b****.’

Rachel cried and Jesse informed the men that Rachel cancelled the cocktail party.

At the evening’s rose ceremony, Rachel handed out her last rose to Logan and he accepted.
‘She gave me a rose and I feel like the bad guy,’ Logan said in a confessional. ‘I would be a fool not to accept a rose if it means I get to talk with Gabby. There’s still hope, there’s still time. I’m going to get it all out there.’
‘Everyone on Rachel’s side is worried,’ Logan said. ‘Now I have the daunting task of telling Rachel that I’ve wanted to pursue Gabby.’
The Bachelorette will return next Monday on ABC.
