She has hinted at the brooding of a fourth child, and yesterday the Duchess revealed that her feelings have not abated when she fell in love with a baby while visiting Cambridge with Prince William.
During their last County Day appointment, at Newmarket Racecourse, Kate looked delighted as she held the boy, who was wearing a pink dress.
A video of the sweet moment shows the mother of three smiling and talking to the baby, who she asked if she could hold, and told her mother, “I love babies.”
Meanwhile, Prince William was seen hanging out nearby, watching his wife cuddle the toddler, and Kate was certainly in no rush to go as he urged her on.

The sweet moment occurred yesterday when Kate saw a benefactor holding her baby and asked if she could cuddle.
The baby’s mother, Marianne Provoost, who had traveled from the Netherlands for the event, said the Duchess had asked to hold her child by saying, “I love babies.”
Her daughter, four-month-old Norah, was returned to her, while Mrs. Provoost said to the Duchess, “Enjoy your day and enjoy your children.”
The video clips show Prince William appearing to gently tap his wife on the arm and say, “It’s time to go.”
However, she took the time to say goodbye to Marianne before returning the child.

Royal fans raved about the moment and took to Twitter to joke about it, especially Prince William’s reaction.
“It makes William a little nervous. With three he is nervous. Another could tip it over the edge,” one wrote.
“Poor William,” another added. “He gets very nervous when Catherine starts to go broody.”
A third agreed, saying, “Look how William desperately tells Catherine it’s time to go.”

It wasn’t surprising given the Duchess’ recent comments about a possible fourth child.
During her visit to the Copenhagen Children’s Museum earlier this year, Kate admitted to feeling “brotherly” after meeting two eight-month-old baby boys and their parents.
She joked that husband Prince William is concerned about her work with children under one year old because she returns home and wants ‘another one’.
Their presence at yesterday’s fair was action packed, with the royals playing a football game and drinking beer while enjoying the show.
Kate, who wore a recycled LK Bennett patterned blue dress and wedges, had no problem hitting the target, much to the delight of the assembled crowd. William also managed to get his shot on target.

Kate was also caught shaking hands with a young boy on County Day, with the pair appearing to be enjoying a quick chat.
Their performance at the event followed a packed schedule for the day, with the Cambridges visiting a number of venues on their mini tour to celebrate their eponymous county.
Earlier that day, the couple visited the University of Cambridge‘s Fitzwilliam Museum, where they saw the first official joint portrait of themselves as it was first unveiled to the public.
The artwork shows Kate looking ethereal in a £1,595 emerald green dress from The Vampire’s Wife, which she first wore on a historic three-day visit to Dublin in March 2020. Sporting £875 Manolo Blahnik green satin pumps, she is seen posing with her arm wrapped around a neat William, who is dressed in a sharp suit with a blue tie.
Painted by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth, ‘one of Britain’s leading portraitists’ who ‘focuses on the character of his subjects and evokes a sense of their presence in his work’, the piece was commissioned in 2021 by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund, held by the Cambridge Community Foundation, as a gift to Cambridgeshire.
And while royal portraits can be a hit and miss affair, the couple gave their personal seal of approval to the painting.
