NNA – Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, on Monday welcomed at Dar Al-Fatwa, Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Rudakov, accompanied by the Russian-Lebanese Cooperation Bureau Chief, Mohammed Nasser al-Din.
Discussions reportedly touched on Lebanon and the region#39;s affairs and means of cooperation between the two countries.
Mufti Derian hoped during the meeting that the Russian-Ukrainian war will stop for the sake of humanity and compassion for humanity.
