NNA – Deputy Head of the Higher Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, on Monday received at the Council#39;s headquarters, Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Ibrahim Al-Sahlawi, who paid him a farewell visit marking the end of his diplomatic mission in Lebanon.nbsp;
Talks between the pair reportedly touched on the general developments in Lebanon and the region, and ways to enhance the relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
Sheikh Al-Khatib wished the Qatari Ambassador success in his new mission, and for the sisterly State of Qatar further stability and prosperity. Sheikh Al-Khatib also hailed Qatarrsquo;s permanent support for Lebanon.
