NNA – Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi, on Friday received a delegation of the Lebanese Forces (LF) and the ldquo;Strong Republicrdquo; bloc,nbsp;at the summer patriarchal residence in Diman.
nbsp;Discussions reportedly touched on the overall developments on the local arena, especially the issue of the presidential elections.
The delegation extended to Patriarch Rahi an invitation to sponsor the annual mass service in commemoration of the Lebanese Forcesrsquo; martyrs, which will be held on September 3rd.
On the other hand, Patriarch Rahi received in Diman, the head of the Arab Volunteer Union, Sheikh Hassan Mohammed Bu Hazaa.
Rahi later received the Coordinator of the quot;National Front for the Return of the Displaced Syriansquot; Youmna Bashir Gemayel, with a delegation from the committee.
Discussions touched on the Syrian displacement issue.
