On Monday afternoon in Columbus, Mississippi a shooting occurred outside a hospital, resulting in at least four individuals being shot.
The incident is believed to have taken place around 4 p.m. at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.
According to Columbus Police Chief Joseph Daughtry, four people have been detained in connection with the shooting. However, he is uncertain about the exact location where the shooting began, but it appears that multiple individuals engaged in gunfire on hospital premises.
No hospital staff members were injured during the incident. As of now, the current conditions of the victims remain unknown.
In response to the shooting, the hospital promptly implemented a lockdown, which was later lifted at approximately 4:45 p.m.
