Dear Reader,

So many of you have tried the free “Do Your Own Birth Chart” on the home page of AstrologyZone.com, and this makes me happy that you are enjoying this new feature.

There was one big omission!

My engineer on this project forgot to add a full description of the Sun signs, Ascendant, and Mid-Heaven (career) point. I had written all those interpretations last year. I will look them over one more time this week and get them posted quickly. I can’t believe we didn’t see those were missing!

One reader asked for the description of their natal nodes in their birth chart. The nodes are a sensitive mathematical point that refers to the two signs that the eclipses were falling in that were closest to your birth. There is the north node and the south node, and the signs they are in are always six months apart. The signs of your north node will give you a suggestion of the direction you should go in life. The sign of the south node I will explain more when I add them later this month.

In the meantime, you will see we have a quiet, slow month ahead with seven out of eight planets eventually retrograde—Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Mars is the only planet that is not retrograde. (The Sun and moon are not planets, and they never retrograde.) Of those planets, the two most important ones for all of us this month will be Venus (retrograde since July 22, to go direct September 3) and Mercury, which will be retrograde from August 23 to September 15.

Going back to the past to reconnect with people you already know in your personal or business life is a good way to deal with retrogrades. It’s also a good time to return to projects you had to put aside due to lack of time or money—now those projects could jump to life.

Before I go, I want you to consider turning on Notifications on my best-selling app, Moonlight Phases—you will automatically be notified when the moon is going void and when the moon is no longer void without having to check. A void moon is a little like Mercury retrograde—nothing of consequence can be achieved when the moon is void. It may be void for a few minutes in a day—or the entire day. I built GPS into my apps so that the information you receive for your time zone is always accurate. I explain the concept of the moon void-of-course in a simple to understand way.

“Moonlight Phases Susan Miller” on the Apple App Store and Google Play give you information on every day of the year for every year through 2050. You will never have to make an important initiation on a bad day after you have my “Moonlight Phases Susan Miller” app, which you will want to check every day. It is rocking off the shelf! Readers are loving it! That makes me so happy! (It’s a onetime purchase of $7.99.) And with Notifications turned on, you will always know what the moon is doing without having to check.

“Moonlight Phases Susan Miller” recently won an award for its content and ease of navigation from the Media Excellence Awards in Los Angles.

I know by your letters that you love cool features, and the other one I want to tell you about is the “Read to Me” feature on the premium subscriber version (not the free version) for $4.99 a month of my classic app, “Astrology Zone Horoscopes,” which allows you to hear my long monthly forecasts read to you. You also get long daily horoscopes for all 12 signs (so you can read for your rising sign), and you can have those read to you, too. No need to sit down and read my forests if you are busy driving, cooking, or at the gym—you decide when to have the forecast read to you.

Go to Settings, turn on Read to Me (second option down on the list), and choose the voice you like best. Life can be so much easier. This feature is only found on the iOS version of my “Astrology Zone Horoscopes” app, as Apple lets us create features that Google does not.

Here is another feature: You can read an abbreviated version of your daily horoscope on your Apple Watch each day too, again sent to you automatically.
