These days, though, as the writers’ strike halts film and TV productions to win fairer wages, contracts and working conditions for its 11,000+ members, even established writers are turning to Etsy to help pay the bills. or teach them to maintain their storytelling skills (and in doing so, ironically, they’re trying to help aspiring writers get a head start in their careers). These four established writers, who fully support the WGA, have taken leaps and bounds as entrepreneurs, transforming their skill sets into viable businesses, in light of the risk that there will be no guaranteed income for the foreseeable future.
