Rebekah Vardy was seen smiling as she watched her husband play for Leicester City today following her devastating ‘Wagatha Christie’ trial defeat which has cost her roughly £3million – as Coleen Rooney danced the night away with pals at Westlife’s sold-out concert following her victory.
Mrs Vardy, 40, was pictured celebrating with her arms aloft as Leicester raced into a two-goal lead before their Premier League match against Brentford at the King Power Stadium ended 2-2.
Striker Jamie played the whole match, contributing an assist as his wife watched from the stands wearing sunglasses and a leather jacket.
Her attendance at the game comes after her loss in the Wagatha Christie libel case, in which she was accused by Coleen Rooney of leaking ‘false stories’ to the media.
The £3million High Court loss has left Mrs Vardy’s reputation has been left in tatters and she revealed last week she is suffering from PTSD following the trial.
The mother-of-five sued Mrs Rooney, wife of former England footballer Wayne, for libel after she publicly accused Mrs Vardy of leaking stories in an explosive social media post.
And last month she was told her evidence was ‘evasive and implausible; and was accused of deliberately deleting WhatsApp messages central to the case.
She said she was ‘extremely sad and disappointed at the decision’ yesterday, adding that it was ‘not the result that I had expected’.
Mrs Vardy today said she had the ‘true Vardy resting b***h face’ on her 40th birthday in February as she celebrated the milestone in the midst of the trial.
She is now planning a celebration to mark her birthday after the end of the trial, insisting: ‘The Vardys love a party!’
Meanwhile, Mrs Rooney ‘danced the night away’ with pals at Westlife’s sold-out concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday – as part of their Wild Dreams Tour.
The WAG, 36, even posed for backstage photos with the band that comprises of Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Nicky Byrne.

Coleen nailed summer chic in a floral linen jumpsuit that was nipped in at her waist with a beige belt and she added matching sandals.
A source said: ‘Coleen and her pals loved the show and stayed to celebrate with Westlife and other celebrity guests at the exclusive after party at Wembley Stadium. She and the girls danced the night away with the boys, Rylan and Louis.
Coleen was in high spirits during the concert and was seen singing along to all the hits from the Royal Box. She’s a big Westlife fan after the band sang at her wedding to Wayne in 2008.’
She was later joined by presenter Rylan Clarke, who also jumped at the opportunity for a snap with the Irish boyband.
The couple splashed out £400,000 to book Coleen’s favourite band, Westlife, for their 2008 wedding at the elegant Italian resort of Portofino.
They ensured that no expense was spared as The Mail on Sunday also revealed they spent £1million on pre-wedding celebrations and £200,000 on her dress.
The main ceremony took place at Villa Durazzo, part of the stunning 16th Century Castello Brown, while the reception will be held in La Cervara, a 700-year-old former abbey.
Last year, Westlife’s Kian revealed on the Jonathan Ross Show, that he got so drunk at the Rooney wedding that he threw up in the bath after being carried out by security.
While chatting about performing at Wayne and Coleen Rooney’s wedding, Shane clarified: ‘It was actually Coleen who booked us for Wayne as a surprise. We thought it was the other way around – we thought Coleen might be the fan.’
‘He came up and sang with us. He kind of rapped it. It was only a small wedding, I think there were 70 people at it. It was the smallest gig we ever did but it was fun.’
It comes as her Wagatha Christie adversary Mrs Vardy has today been accused of ‘ruthless’ and ‘self-centred actions’ by friends of her agent Caroline Watt.
They say Mrs Vardy has ignored Ms Watt’s mental health struggles while talking about her own in the wake of the libel case.
Ms Watt found herself at the centre of the trial after Mrs Vardy, 40, wife of Leicester City striker Jamie, sensationally blamed her for selling stories, but claimed to know nothing about the deals.
She also drew attention after her mobile phone filled with evidence that ended up at the bottom of the North Sea.
Though she did not give evidence at the High Court trial after a psychiatrist ruled she was unfit to appear.
Since losing the trial, Mrs Vardy has spoken publicly about how she thinks she is suffering from PTSD, was targeted by trolls and she considered suicide.
But furious friends of Ms Watt have branded the Wag of being ‘single-minded’ while talking about her struggles,
A source last night told The Sun that Ms Watt, 40, is ‘paying the greatest price for Becky’s ruthless, self-centred actions’.
Mrs Vardy’s agent of seven years has reportedly not worked for months due to the huge amounts of exposure she received from the battle between the two Wags
Her friends revealed that her ex-professional footballer husband Steve has been worried about her being ‘suicidal’ and had to stop working at times to look after her.
They say she has been trying to pull her life back together while Mrs Vardy has been ‘loving the limelight’.
But friends of Ms Watt are said to be furious with Becky, who they say has been ‘cruel’ and ‘selfish’.
Mrs Vardy relentlessly pursued the case against her Wag rival Coleen for nearly three years after being accused of leaking private stories about Coleen and her family to The Sun newspaper.
For a week in May, the case captivated millions who were left open-mouthed by the evidence including explosive and expletive-filled Whatsapp messages sent by Ms Vardy as well as Coleen’s evidence about leaking false stories about her private life to find who was giving them to the tabloids and how her marriage almost fell apart after her husband Wayne was caught drink-driving with a party girl.
The bombshell verdict from Court 13 of the High Court was handed down remotely online by Mrs Justice Steyn just over two months after the hearing in May.
Vardy’s failed libel suit has been branded the most ill-advised in history.
She had insisted on a full trial in the glare of the international media – and lost.
The High Court found that Mrs Rooney’s social media post accusing her rival was ‘substantially true’ and that Mrs Vardy ‘knew of, condoned and was actively engaged’ in leaks to the media by her ex-agent Caroline Watt.
And in a damning assessment of Mrs Vardy’s evidence, the judge said ‘significant parts were not credible’ and at times her ‘evidence was manifestly inconsistent with the contemporaneous documentary evidence, evasive or implausible’. By contrast, the judge found that Coleen and her witnesses, including husband Wayne, ‘gave honest, reliable evidence.’

He added: ‘I remember being carried out by our security and going back up to our dressing room in the hotel and vomiting into the bathtub!’
Coleen’s outing comes as she and Rebekah are set for one last dramatic High Court showdown over who will foot the multi-million-pound bill for their costly ‘Wagatha Christie’ libel battle.

Sources close to Coleen – who won the case last week – told The Mail on Sunday she will fight to make sure Rebekah pays the full amount, estimated to be up to £3million.
Usually a winning party will still have to pay about 30 per cent of the costs.
But Coleen’s team claim the judge’s damning judgment that Becky did sell stories about her to The Sun newspaper means it is ‘inconceivable’ that she won’t be made to pay the full amount.
