A desperate search continues to find two college students who disappeared from a remote campsite during a school field trip.

Two high school students from Taminmin College failed to return to Jabiru Campground during a school camp on Thursday night.

On Friday, Taminmin College principal John Harris addressed the incident in a school report.

“Police have been notified and are working with the families to locate the two missing students and bring them home,” he wrote.

“The other students who attended the camp have returned to school and will be supported by staff and the school counsellor.

“Our school is working with the families of missing students and also recognizes that this incident may be distressing to others, so please contact me if you think your child/children need further support.”
