NFL defensive end Robert Quinn has reportedly been charged by South Carolina police after he allegedly rammed into several cars and then slapped a woman.
Quinn, currently a free agent, turned himself in to authorities on Friday after Tuesday night’s alleged incident.
Quinn, who signed a five-year contract worth $70 million in 2020, is accused of having hitting four cars, a gate and a lamp post.
The 33-year-old then allegedly ran into a Summerville resident after neighbors reported several cars were damaged. Some talked to Quinn, only for him to leave.
“He was very belligerent,” said a resident WCSC. “He kept saying, ‘Oh don’t worry about it, I’m going to buy you new cars, I’m going to buy you a new car, let’s go to the dealership.’

“I told him to get off my property and he put his hands on me and slapped me not once but twice.”
According to reports, Quinn faces seven counts, ranging from third degree battery, hit and run with property damage, and four counts of leaving the scene after a traffic incident. .
After Quinn turned himself in Friday morning, he reportedly attended a bail hearing in Summerville City Court and received a personal bond of $155.
Quinn has spent more than a decade in the NFL, having been drafted by the St. Louis Rams in 2011.
