NNA – The Russian army announced that it had thwarted an attack by a Ukrainian drone targeting Moscow and its environs, at a time when Kiev is increasing its similar attacks on Russian territory as part of the counterattack it has launched since the beginning of June to liberate its lands from Russian forces.
The army said in a statement reported by quot;Agence France-Pressequot; that it quot;thwarted this afternoon an attempt by the Kiev regime to launch a terrorist attack with a drone on targets in and around Moscow,quot; noting that it responded to the attack using quot;electronic warfarequot; tools, and quot;the drone crashed in the abandonednbsp;area near Putilkovoquot;, in the northwest suburb of Moscow.
quot;There were no injuries or damages,quot; itnbsp;added.
