NNA – Marking one year since the assassination of Russian journalist and philosopher, Daria Dugina, Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Rudakov, paid tribute to the late prominent thinker in the following article titled ldquo;Kievrsquo;s identity crisis or the vicious circle of self-betrayalrdquo;:nbsp;

ldquo;The 20th of August marks one year since the devastating assassination of Daria Dugina. Itrsquo;s fair to say that to most Lebanese, this name probably does not ring a bell, but perhaps it should. Because she was more than just another victim in the ongoing war waged by certain States against everything Russian.

Daria Dugina was a prominent Russian journalist and a philosopher assassinated by Ukrainian terrorists. A despicable act that could only be committed by a despicable and bloodthirsty neo-Nazi regime.

One could speculate that it was in fact her father ndash; Alexander Dugin ndash; who was the target of the terrorist attack, and not Daria herself. Given that he is one of the more ldquo;heavyweightrdquo; geopolitical Russian thinkers, whom the West considers outright dangerous to its global hegemonistic aspirations, his assassination would have been a highly symbolic ldquo;achievementrdquo; for Kiev. Either way, his daughterrsquo;s death just goes to show that innocent lives are worthless to the people in charge of running Ukraine.

Of course, Daria was not the only person ndash; let alone not the only journalist ndash; who fell victim to the bloody acts of terror organized by the Kiev regime. There were others: Vladlen Tatarsky, Sergey Dolgov, Anton Voloshin, Oles Buzina, and the list goes onhellip;

They were considered a threat by Ukrainian authorities because they told the truth. They were not afraid to write about the things as they really were, without having to look over their shoulders for approval. They were not hesitant to challenge the Western mass media Behemoth that devours everything that does not fit into its vast propaganda network.

Daria was like that, too ndash; a misfit in the world of westernized ideas. What is more, she was also an accomplished philosopher, a free-thinking Russian spirit that stood up to the neoliberalist dogma. She refused to accept the globalist dominance in philosophy and stayed true to the traditional moral values that define what it means to be a decent human being.

Her lifersquo;s work was part of a greater battle ndash; the battle for civilizational, cultural, and ideological diversity. The West seeks to remain the hegemon in every aspect of society, thus succumbing to its beloved old colonial ways. Evidently, it does not hesitate to shed blood or to destroy cultural and intellectual autonomy. And Russia is one of the very few countries brave and strong enough to stand in its way.

To the West, we are an anomaly that does not fit into the narrow thinking of neoliberal ideologues. A nation that values Truth, Beauty, Kindness and Goodness above material gains is an outlier within the framework of the unipolar world order that their old elites are trying to bring to life. They find us inconvenient, frightful, and even retrograde. Because we put freedom and honesty above money and power. Because, unlike the Anglo-Saxons, we treat other nations as equals and are not blinded by a superiority complex. Many of the old Western elites openly despise us and have no shame in spewing their hatred our way. Simply because we are not like them.

The Kiev regime is slowly but surely entrapping itself in the neoliberal dystopian nightmare, completely submitting to the authority of its overseas puppet masters. In exchange for some promised mythical riches, Ukrainian authorities are falling into the web of lies of the supposedly ldquo;democraticrdquo; values. In reality, they are selling the remainders of their sovereignty and are willingly letting themselves get enslaved. Ukrainians are not being ldquo;liberatedrdquo; from some burden of their neighbors. They are in fact having their identity altered, overwritten and at times even completely erased by those who continuously pump them with weapons and unsustainable loans to keep up the delusionary fantasy of the warmongering Ukrainian regime.

In doing so, they are betraying their forefathers who fought for the very existence of their nation. They are betraying their history, turning completely oblivious to their cultural heritage and getting entangled in pseudopagan cults. More importantly, they are betraying their own people, fostering corruption, hatred, lawlessness, and violence. All of it in the name of the illusive bright ldquo;Europeanrdquo; and ldquo;democraticrdquo; future, which ndash; let us be completely honest ndash; is simply not bound to happen.

The simple truth of continuous Ukrainian self-betrayal in hopes for getting something in return is best summarized by an old saying from the annals of Ancient history: Rome does not pay to traitors.rdquo;
