Jordan De Goey is reportedly furious with Collingwood Football Club for the way they have handled his Bali saga, with the 26-year-old unwilling to return to the Pies after his personal departure.
De Goey’s future at Collingwood is in serious doubt after the club reportedly withdrew a lucrative contract offer after a video emerged of the troubled star attempting to bare a woman’s breast on a night out in Bali during the mid-season break .
The midfielder apologized Friday after being given a $25,000 suspended fine and personal leave, meaning he will not be available to play against GWS Giants on Sunday.

His apology is a dramatic setback from his initial statement when the Bali video first surfaced, in which he called on the media for “the relentless pursuit and persecution of athletes.” There have been suggestions that De Goey was ‘forced’ to make the apology video.
And while Pies boss Craig McRae said he wanted to “put my arms around him” in an emotional public statement of support, De Goey is reportedly not interested in embracing the club.
SEN football journalist Sam Edmund told AFL360 De Goey is ‘so mad at Collingwood that he doesn’t feel like walking through the doors now’.

The 26-year-old apologized Friday and was placed on indefinite personal leave
“They call it mental health leave, but it could easily be described as anger leave,” Edmund said.
It is not surprising given his statement about ‘this persecution, the relentless pursuit of the media must stop’. And then you do a grim 180 and then turn around and say you take full responsibility for your actions in a video that Collingwood football club has you do.
“That is a huge sight that the player has had to swallow in a short time. Hence the delay in all this coming to light. I think you could absolutely tell the story that Jordan De Goey isn’t happy with Collingwood.”
However, it is understood that he is furious with the Pies hierarchy and does not want to return
It was further clarified that De Goey is happy with club chiefs instead of someone in the football department.
When discussing whether the 26-year-old will be at the club next year, Edmund replied: “Not unless his anger heals or subsides in Collingwood.
“And there’s a movement that thinks Collingwood might just be happy to let him go—given the agency’s fee that would come back the other way.”
Should De Goey become available as a free agent, St Kilda would lead the race for the midfielder, with Brett Ratten publicly praising his talent.
Meanwhile, North Melbourne, Geelong and Port Adelaide have also publicly revealed that they would consider recruiting De Goey, and Essendon would be able to make a play.
