Mint Mobile plans offer unbeatable value for cell phone service. This T-Mobile subsidiary offers access to the same network that T-Mobile customers get. You can check the coverage map here to see exactly what that looks like. Better yet, you get that access at a fraction of the cost—an ongoing Mint Mobile deal gets you three months for $15 per month, no matter which plan you choose. That includes Mint’s Unlimited plan.
Here’s how Mint Mobile works: you either bring your own unlocked 4G- or 5G-compatible device to the network and purchase a SIM kit (effectively signing up for a plan). You could even take advantage of iPhone 15 deals on unlocked models and purchase a digital eSIM.
Or, you can purchase a device directly from the carrier, with Mint often offering $50 off select Android phones when signing up for a 12-month plan. The best Mint Mobile phone deal right now saves you $200 on the Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro. Whichever route you choose, just activate your eSIM or install the physical SIM card, go through a quick setup process, and you’ll be all set with unlimited talk and text, plus however much data your plan allows.
Today’s best Mint Mobile plans and deals
Right now, new customers bringing their own device can sign up for any of Mint’s 3-month plans, including Unlimited, for $15 per month ($45 due at checkout). The base 5GB plan is always $15, but you can get 25% off 15GB, 40% off 20GB, or 50% off unlimited. If you’re not on an unlimited plan and coming up against your monthly limit, you can purchase more data a la carte using the Mint Mobile app.
No matter which Mint Mobile plan you choose, your first three months cost $45. You can also buy multiple plans at this special price, and Mint lets you easily combine accounts under a family plan. If you like what you’re getting for the money, you can lock in that introductory price by committing to another 12 months during your renewal period.
In addition to unlimited talk and text, all Mint plans include free calling to Canada and Mexico, WiFi calling and text, and free mobile hotspot access to share your phone’s data with other devices. Hotspot data is limited to 10GB on the Unlimited plan, though.

Is Mint Mobile good?
Ask most price-savvy wireless service shoppers which company you should consider switching to for lowering your monthly phone bill as much as possible, and Mint Mobile is almost guaranteed to come up. That’s for good reason—Mint Mobile offers solid wireless service on the same networks the big names use for a fraction of the cost. Specifically, Mint Mobile runs on T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network and is now owned by that very company.
In our Mint Mobile review, we found that while overall service quality was pretty good, data speeds were a little too slow during peak usage. This affected video call quality enough that you might opt to wait until you’re on WiFi for facetime action. But at $15, Mint Mobile is still one of the best values in alternative phone service.
How Mint Mobile’s family plan works
Mint Mobile’s “Modern Family” plan diverges from the traditional family plans often touted by other carriers, which commonly feature discounts for adding additional lines. Instead, Mint charges the same rate for each line as it does for the first.
The real benefit of Mint’s family plan lies in its centralized management, rather than cost savings. Customers can initiate a family plan with a minimum of two lines, each priced according to its data allowance. For instance, a family could opt for a plan that includes one unlimited data line, a 15GB line, and a 5GB line.
How Mint Mobile’s unlimited data plan works
Mint Mobile offers an unlimited data plan starting at $30 per month (currently discounted to $15), making it one of the more budget-friendly options available. Like many in its league, Mint limits the amount of high-speed data you get after hitting a certain threshold—40GB of usage in this case. After that, your speeds are cut down considerably until your cycle refreshes.
Mint also offers $50 off select Android phones when buying it with a 12-month plan.
