NNA – Former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora saluted, ldquo;the heroic crossing operation carried out by the heroes of the Palestinian resistance towards the Gaza area, where they struck their decisive blow in the right place and at the right time.quot;
quot;It is a military operation that is similar to the war that Egypt and Syria waged against Israel a year before 1973, fifty years ago…Thus, the Arabs prove once again that the Arab individualnbsp;is capable of achieving progress and victory, with the concerted Arab efforts in all their forms,quot; he said.

Siniora also considered that the Palestinian resistance fighters have proved that the Palestinian issue is an Arab cause in all its forms and at the core of the issues in the Arab world, one thatnbsp;does not die and needs the solidarity of all Arabsnbsp;in order to achieve what was agreed upon at the Beirut Summit and implement the Arab Peace Initiative.
Moreover, while emphasizing Lebanon#39;s support and solidarity with the Palestinian freedom fighters in their struggle to obtain their legitimate rights, Siniora simultaneously stressed quot;the necessity of not involving Lebanon in any clash with the Israeli enemy because its capacity for endurance has been exhaustednbsp;due tonbsp;being immersed in three major crises that rendernbsp;the situation extremely fragile and weak.quot;
He added, quot;Lebanon has its sufficient share of the worsening political crisis, where its regime and state stand on the brink of collapse due to the presidential vacuum and the collapse of its statersquo;s authority, in addition to its financial, economic, and daily-living crisis.rdquo;
ldquo;We urge all concerned parties in Lebanon, and we also urge the Lebanese government to exercise the highest levels of foresight and wisdom, communicate with everyone, and provide greater coordination to avoid the looming serious problems and shocks,quot; Siniora concluded.
