NNA – Caretaker Minister of Industry, MP George Boujikian, on Tuesday met Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardieri, to whom he confirmed the depth of historical relations between Lebanon and Italy.
ldquo;Italy is among the first countries with which Lebanon exchanged trade, industry, culture, and tourism,rdquo; Boujikian added.nbsp;
Moreover, the pair discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the best means to develop relations.nbsp;
ldquo;Lebanese industrialists are keen on improving the quality of their products and on adhering to specifications so that they can compete in European markets,rdquo; Boujikian said.
