WhatsNew2Day – Latest News And Breaking Headlines
Jennifer Lawrence’s highly anticipated romantic comedy No Hard Feelings arrived on Netflix in the US yesterday (coming to Britain sometime in 2024). And after a drought of good rom-com since perhaps the early 2000s, the hype was real for an Oscar-winning actress to take her hilarious attitude and play Maddie:
a woman who tries to seduce a 19-year-old to save her family. home via a serious Craigslist job posting posted by his wealthy parents before he was sent to Princeton.
Except no one is talking about No Hard Feelings’ plot, performances, or effortlessly clever script because all everyone can focus on is Jennifer’s body. In particular, every inch of a full frontal nude scene.
All morning long, the “Jennifer Lawrence” nude scene was a trending Google search. “Jennifer Lawrence Stuns Fans With FULL-FRONTAL Nude Scene in X-Rated Comedy,” screamed the headlines.

What’s almost worse than the nudity obsession, however, is the way Jennifer is shamed for it. “To be 100 percent clear, I am a HUGE fan of J-Law – hell, one of the few JOY defenders out there – but her decision to run around naked on a beach and suplex teenagers in #NoHardFeelings is utterly baffling,” one Twitter user wrote. “You won an OSCAR girl, why on earth did you say yes to that?”

Besides Andrew Feldman, Jennifer Lawrence is excellent in No Hard Feelings. She shines like the undeniable superstar that she is. It’s boring and regressive to downplay that because she takes off her clothes and fights a group of teenagers on the beach – one of many moments of pristine physical comedy sprinkled throughout her performance.
She’s no less of an Oscar winner because she was naked and did comedy. To insinuate otherwise is snobbish and boring. And if that’s all you can take away from this film’s clever script and incredible character chemistry, then that’s up to you.
Jennifer Lawrence’s nude scene shouldn’t be the most interesting part of No Hard Feelings
