NNA – Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, welcomed, at his ministry office on Wednesday, a media delegation which included: Head of the Episcopal Commission for media outlets and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ldquo;Tele Lumiererdquo;, Bishop Antoine Nabil Andari, Teacute;leacute; Lumiegrave;re#39;s Executive Director- Noursat Board Chairman Jacques Kallassy, Executive Director of Al Mahabah Radio and Television ldquo;Charity TVrdquo; Father Charbel Geagea, Director of ldquo;Nour Al Shababrdquo; station from ldquo;Noursatrdquo; Josephine Daher Al Ghoul and Jocelyn Latif.
Local developments and the role of Christian media in creating a good society and educating correct citizenship were discussed.
Discussions also touched on the emergency plan at the media level in light of current developments.
Makary was also briefed on the conditions of the Christian religious media outlets operating in Lebanon, which were established by a Cabinet decision in 1996.
