A teenage girl who tattooed her boyfriend’s face on her neck came up with a clever solution to hide it after their sudden breakup.
Jayda Chanel Marie tattooed her boyfriend Damonte Ray’s face on her neck from a photo in February after he inked her name above his eyebrow.
The bizarre act of love was posted online by Damonte, who captioned the video: “My girlfriend gets my face tattooed.”
But as the weeks went on, Jayda disappeared from Damonte’s TikTok account, only to reappear months later with a different tattoo.

Jayda had turned Damonte’s tribute into a rose, as seen in recent photos and videos.
The first tattoo was filmed by Damonte, a trans man, and uploaded to his TikTok account.

Wearing a pink sweater and ripped jeans, Jayda is then seen lying down, pulling down the neckline to clear enough skin space for the artist to begin cleaning.
As the artist transfers the stencil and begins tattooing with a needle, Jayda can be seen shaking and clenching her fists for a few seconds.
Once the tattoo is done, Jayda closes her eyes and appears emotionless as the tattoo artist wipes her skin with a paper towel.
The video went viral and sent the internet into a tailspin as people questioned the teen’s decision.
One user commented: ‘I would have cut off the scruff of my neck because wtf.’
Another person wrote: ‘Now she needs a great cover up artist.’

Just weeks after the tattoo was inked, Jayda seemed to disappear from Damonte’s online accounts.
Later videos and photos Jayda posted showed her wearing chains and tactfully covering the ink sketch with foundation.
She shared videos of herself singing to the camera with captions like, “No, I’m not in love anymore” and “when they keep asking about the boy who broke my heart.”
Some curious fans commented under one of her videos: “Wait…what happened to the neck tattoo?”
The tattoo was expertly turned into a large rose, but remains a stark reminder of the split.
Since the two rekindled their love, it appears that Jayda has left her own social media account, instead appearing regularly in Damonte’s videos.
The two appeared to reconcile when Damonte shared a video of them dancing together with the caption, “Nelly and Ashanti get back together, Jazz and Tae get back together… guess who gets back together.”
The video came just days after Marie posted a series of selfies earlier this month, writing: “Everyone was judging me because I always went back to him.”
“He made me stupid in everyone’s eyes,” she wrote. “No one understood why I still love him.”
