Tom Brady added some fuel to the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry ahead of Saturday’s high school meet as the ex-Wolverines quarterback recorded a chilling voice-over promo for FOX.
With both teams undefeated and in second and third place respectively, the latest iteration of the historic rivalry has particularly major ramifications.
And Brady, who played at Michigan from 1996 to 1999, thinks no rivalry in the world can match that of the Big Ten’s best programs.
“Every cold November, the Big Ten prepares for a gathering of football royalty,” he says in the video. “A big game played with a bigger grudge.”
He later adds: ‘There are great rivalries at every level, in every sport, all over the world. This game – the game – shares the stage with no one.”

For the first time since 2018, Michigan is favored in the game despite the school’s sign-stealing scandal, which will keep coach Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines.
Despite denying any knowledge of the alleged scheme, Harbaugh was suspended for three games earlier this month and also missed games against Penn State and Maryland.
The NCAA has been investigating Michigan for allegedly sending former staffer Connor Stalions to opposing games to record video that would be used to decode in-game signals.
The school also fired linebackers coach Chris Partridge, who destroyed computer evidence.
According to Yahoo! Sport Partridge destroyed computer evidence in an attempt to cover up the program’s character stealing.
Brady, who retired from the NFL in February, signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with FOX and is expected to join their NFL broadcasts in the fall of 2024.
