Bradley Walsh made a cheeky comment at the expense of his BBC rival Alexander Armstrong on a celebrity episode of Beat The Chasers on Friday.
Alexander, who hosts BBC quiz show Pointless, was one of four contestants hoping to win thousands of pounds for charity.
The other contestants were comedians Nish Kumar and Chris McCausland, and Sports Personality of the Year winner Mary Earps.
First to arrive was Nish Kumar, who brought home £25,000 for his chosen charity, Choose Love, which supports refugees.
Next to take on the Chasers was Mary, 30, who played to raise money for mental health charity CALM, but got off to a rocky start when she struggled to answer an “obvious” question correctly.

Alexander, who hosts BBC quiz show Pointless, was one of four contestants hoping to win thousands of pounds for charity (Alexander appears on Pointless in 2009).
Then he said: ‘I come from Manchester, right? So it’s not really ideal if I come back with nothing.’
Bradley, 63, replied: ‘You’ll go home with something, the Chasers give you a thousand quid anyway’, to which Mary replied: ‘Yes, and the memories of walking through the (famous) tunnel and then coming back ‘.
But Bradley told him: ‘Well, you don’t, you actually do it.
“So you don’t even have a chance to go back, you actually keep going through and the doors open and you’re forgotten.”
Bradley then asked, ‘Those doors, do you know where you end up?’
After Mary guessed, “The parking lot?”, a very amused Bradley joked, “Useless,” in a cheeky gig on celebrity contestant Alexander’s show, which he has hosted since 2009.
Alexander, 53, was the next contender to compete, and it was revealed that Bradley wasn’t kidding – Beat The Chasers and Pointless were actually filmed in the same studios.
After welcoming Alexander on stage, Bradley revealed that he was once left red-faced when he accidentally walked into the wrong studio.

He explained, “When I started working on this show, I accidentally walked on set while they were filming Pointless.”
Alexander went on to say that the pair often meet up after filming their shows to ‘exchange notes’ over a cup of tea.
Broadcaster Alexander, who recently appeared on The Masked Singer UK, has presented Pointless since 2009. His former co-host, author and comedian Richard Osman, left the show in 2022 and was replaced by guests.
Beat The Chasers began airing in 2020. Its flagship show, The Chase, has also aired since 2009. Bradley has hosted both shows during his tenure.
