NNA – The water level of the Litani River has risen, and the rains that poured heavily within the last two days have submerged numerous banana and citrus orchards, as well as vegetable-planted plains. This has resulted in significant damage, particularly in the region near the Lower Litani, close to the southern Lebanese towns of Bedias and Burj Rahhal.
Civil Defense statements cautioned against approaching water channels and secondary irrigation canals, as well as to avoid parking vehicles near elevated walls.
