<p>The <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/keyword/iran">Iran</a>-backed <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/keyword/houthi">Houthi</a> rebels fired a cruise missile at an American warship on Sunday in apparent retaliation for <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/houthis-vow-strong-and-effective-response-to-latest-us-strike">U.S. airstrikes against Houthi targets</a> in <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/keyword/yemen">Yemen</a> last week.</p>
