A man was found hanging inside a subway tunnel near Manhattan’s Grand Central station in the early hours of Saturday morning, police say.
Officers said the unidentified man, who was barefoot, was discovered hanging from his neck by a cable about 100 feet down the No. 7 train tunnel.
He was found by MTA workers around 5:15 a.m. and was said to be unconscious and unresponsive before being pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said no crime is suspected in the incident and that it appears to be a suicide.

It allegedly showed the barefoot but fully clothed man hanging in the tunnel, with New York Police Department United Emergency Service officers ready to put him in a body bag.
