The trailer begins with a birthday party for Ryan’s Wade Wilson, which is rudely interrupted by a knock on the door.
Soldiers in the black armor of the Time Variance Authority (an agency introduced in Loki) are standing there with electrified batons.
Referencing the R-rated action franchise that falls under the Mouse House umbrella, the actor, who is heavily made up in a wig and scarred prosthetics, deadpans on camera: ‘Is that supposed to give fear? Pegging isn’t new to me, friend, but it is to Disney.
Wade is then transported to the Marvel-verse.
There, Matthew MacFadyen tries to recruit him to become a “hero among heroes.”
The effort faces another controversial joke from an irreverent character who says, “your little cinematic universe is about to change forever.”
He then refers to himself saying ‘I am the Messiah, I Am’. Marvel, Jesus.’
Hugh Jackman, 55, doesn’t show his face in the trailer, but his presence is felt.

At the end of the trailer, when Deadpool has been beaten by his opponents, a shadow overcomes him.
“Don’t just stand there, monkey, raise your hand,” he says.
That’s when the ‘ape’ agrees to the request, but not in the way Deadpool would have expected.
The claws come out and he quickly backs away saying, “No.” In fact I’m fine. Thank you so much.’
The film also symbolizes Wolverine moving from the X-Men universe to the Marvel one.
Director and co-writer Shawn Levy celebrated the good news by making a quick video using clips from the film and adding the “Most Viewed Trailer of All Time” graphic.
