NNA – Grand Mufti of the Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, on Wednesday welcomed Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Fabrizio Marcelli, at Dar Al-Fatwa.
Discussions reportedly focused on the countryrsquo;s general situation and avenues for enhancing bilateral relations between Lebanon and Italy.
In a separate meeting, Grand Mufti Derian also received MP Ahmad El-Kheir. Talks between both men encompassed various Islamic and national issues.
