NNA -nbsp;Air India#39;s flight from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram has been placed in an isolation bay at the airport following a bomb threat.
Authorities at Thiruvananthapuram airport have declared a full emergency situation, news agency PTI reported quoting sources.
quot;The bomb threat was communicated by the pilot as the aircraft approached the Thiruvananthapuram airport,quot; the sources revealed.
The aircraft was carrying a total of 135 passengers. Further information regarding the origin of the threat has not been ascertained as yet.

Meanwhile, Air India, in a statement, said that a specific security alert was detected on flight AI 657 during cruise from Mumbai to Thiruvananthapuram and quot;the crew carried out all the laid down security drills keeping passenger safety as top priority.quot;
