NNA – Grand Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, on Thursday received at Dar Al-Fatwa, Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa.
Following the meeting, Ambassador Moussa said: ldquo;I was honored to meet His Eminence and I informed him of what is happening in Gaza and its impact on Lebanon. We also talked about the southern Lebanon front.rdquo;
Ambassador Moussa added: ldquo;We discussed the importance of restoringnbsp;momentumnbsp;for the presidential file, and agreed on itsnbsp;importance and the need to speedily address this dossier because the challenges ahead are huge for Lebanon and the entire region. Hence, it is a priority for Lebanon to deal with its internal files in preparation for facingnbsp;these challenges.rdquo;
