NNA – An official told Agence France-Presse on Saturday thatnbsp;the polio vaccination campaign in the central Gaza Strip has started, after the United Nations announced that Israel had agreed to ldquo;humanitarian trucesrdquo; to allow children to be vaccinated, despite the war that has been ongoing for nearly 11 months.
Doctor Musa Abed, Director General of Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, said that the Ministry of Health teams, in cooperation with the United Nations and non-governmental organizations, began today the polio vaccination campaign in the central region.
