NNA ndash; Israeli warplanes on Friday launched a series of airstrikes hitting the southern Lebanese towns of Mays al-Jabal and Kfarkela, followed by further attacks on northern Mays al-Jabal, the outskirts of Adaisseh-Kfarkela, and Taybeh.

Later at 11:30 a.m., Israeli forces escalated the assault with a strike on Aitroun in the Bint Jbeil district, intensifying the situation along the southern Lebanese border.
