One fan asked: ‘Do you ever feel insecure about your scar after your surgery? I’ve had the same and feel insecure.’
Molly-Mae replied kindly, “I now have a lot of scars from surgeries I’ve had. Endo scars, mole removal and lump removal scars.
“They all tell a story. If anything, I’m thankful that I have the fears instead of the things that were there before. I’m so lucky to be able to sort them.’
In 2020, the Love Island star had a mole removed after a cancer fear, which left her with a large scar.

The entrepreneur wrote about her struggles in her new book, Becoming Molly-Mae, and said some of her health issues cropped up when she started seeing Tommy, also 23.

Endometriosis causes tissue similar to the lining of the uterus to grow in various organs around the body.
Tissue buildup may be minimal, but in the most painfully severe cases, it can cause scarring that fuses organs together because of the time it takes for cells to leave the body after they thicken during the menstrual cycle.
Molly-Mae wrote, “Before dating Tommy, I didn’t really have sex, so I didn’t really think there were any issues other than my period pain.”
But she said: ‘I was in terrible pain – literally feeling like I had been stabbed in the stomach – just terrible. And it caused me so many problems.

The influencer explained how she found the nights particularly difficult and feared she “wouldn’t wake up” because of the excruciating pain.

“It got so bad that I would roll over in bed and basically fear for my life, thinking my body would be in so much pain, what’s going on?
“I literally lay there and thought, ‘Am I going to look in the morning?’ I was in so much pain that I was afraid I wouldn’t wake up in the morning. It was so terrible.’
“Tommy used to not even know what to do with me, he looked at me like ‘I don’t know what to do’.”
The former Love Islander first spoke about her diagnosis last year and has boldly shown scars from surgeries she’s undergone to relieve her symptoms.
