Jesse Lingard will fly to the US for ‘groundbreaking’ talks with two MLS sides after he leaves Manchester United, according to reports.
The attacking midfielder left OId Trafford this summer at the end of his contract and is therefore available as a free agent.
Several parties are interested in his signature, and as reported by ESPNtwo top parties across the pond will pitch their credentials in an effort to convince Lingard to sign.

He wants football in the first team because he wants to regain a place in England’s World Cup squad
The 29-year-old wants regular football in the first team as he aims to secure a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad ahead of the World Cup in Qatar later this year.
Lingard has capitulated 32 times for the Three Lions, scored six, and made his way back to the international side after a stellar loan spell with West Ham in 2021, scoring nine in 16 appearances.
But he has since fallen out of reckoning and hopes to play himself back into Southgate’s plans.

Lingard, who has played 232 times for United in all competitions during his eight seasons with the club, is reportedly yet to make a decision about his future and is keeping his options open.
Hammers boss David Moyes is interested in bringing him back to the London Stadium, while Frank Lampard’s Everton is another Premier League side vying for his signature.
ESPN also reports that European heavyweights Barcelona and AC Milan reached out to Lingard earlier this summer.
