Footage has emerged of Salt Bae storming into Real Madrid’s celebrations following their 2018 Champions League victory to pose for photos with Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo.

The celebrity-chasing chef has sparked controversy in recent days after taking the field at Argentina’s trophies ceremony following their World Cup win against France on Sunday.

Salt Bae, real name Nusret Gokce, stole the spotlight when looking for pictures of himself with Lionel Messi and co with the World Cup trophy.

Messi made short work of him, looking annoyed that Salt Bae was trying to make the moment about himself.

But Salt Bae did manage to get his picture taken with Argentina defender Lisandro Martinez, although the Manchester United defender didn’t seem too happy to see him.

Angel Di Maria also looked uneasy as Salt Bae refused to continue to give the players a chance to enjoy their victory.

Salt Bae’s actions should come as no surprise, however, as he did the same to Messi’s great rival Ronaldo four years ago.

After Madrid beat Liverpool 3-1 in the final in Kyiv, Salt Bae went behind the scenes looking for Ronaldo and Ramos.

Unlike the Argentinian players, the Madrid duo seemed to really enjoy Salt Bae’s company, with Ronaldo laughing and joking with the steak magnate.

Ramos was also in a playful mood as he pulled off Salt Bae’s signature move, as if he were throwing salt into the Champions League trophy.

The clip ends with Madrid defender Marcelo also mimicking the sprinkling of salt, while Salt Bae gives a thumbs up to the camera, having achieved his goal of meeting his idols.

FIFA confirmed on Thursday that they will investigate how Salt Bae came onto the field after the World Cup final.

According to their rules, only heads of state and a select group of people, including former World Cup winners, are allowed to touch the trophy, but Salt Bae managed to get his hands on it.

The governing body has vowed to take “internal action” once they establish the full facts.

Salt Bae’s relationship with FIFA president Gianni Infantino has been thrown into question since the incident after video emerged of the pair together at the former’s steak restaurant last year.

Infantino gave Salt Bae a VIP pass to the final despite the chief having no affiliation or affiliation with football, any team or the tournament itself.
