NNA – Head of the Kataeb Party, MP Sami Gemayel, told Al-Hurra TV that the latest clashes that erupted inside the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain-el-Hilwe are a quot;natural consequencequot; of the presence of quot;armed Lebanese and non-Lebanese militias on the Lebanese soil.quot;
According to Gemayel, Hezbollah bears responsibility for the recent events in the camp. quot;Hezbollah is responsible for two reasons: the first is that (Hezbollah) prevents the establishing of the state,quot; he said. quot;The second,quot; he continued, quot;is that (Hezbollah) is involved in the conflict between the Palestinian factions; it backs some of them in Palestine and coordinates with some others in Lebanon.quot;
quot;The state is absent, and Hezbollah and the House Speaker are making decisions and negotiating in the name of the Lebanese, just like what happened in the border demarcation file,quot; said Gemayel.
