A mum-of-two has discovered the best way to deal with her ‘miserable’ periods: getting pregnant every year and skipping them altogether.
Canada’s Chantel Schnider is expecting her third child with husband Aaron and has made a tongue-in-cheek video about her ‘tactics’.
The ‘period prevention’ clip caught the attention of thousands, with many describing Chantel as a ‘super mum’ – but others were stunned.
“When he gets you pregnant every year so you don’t have to deal with your period,” she wrote in a TikTok video now viewed over 4.5 million times.
Chantel can be seen syncing the words “Thank you to my man” as her husband stands next to her holding their two children in each arm.

“When he gets you pregnant every year so you don’t have to deal with your period,” she wrote in a TikTok video now viewed over 4.5 million times
Being pregnant means she won’t get her period until after the baby is born, which she is grateful for.
“My pregnancies are absolutely miserable, but somehow I’d still rather be pregnant (than have) periods,” Chantel wrote in the comments.
She also revealed that they would ideally like a large family with “10 or eight” children.
The couple post ‘day in the life’ videos and share what it’s like to be a parent with their 662,000 TikTok followers under the username The Alexander Family.

Other mums resonated with Chantel’s experience of getting pregnant soon after giving birth and not having a period for a long time.

“Same girl, I’ve had three in three years,” one woman commented, another said, “Same – I took a break in 2022 though.”
“Not to mention it’s so nice to have all the kids at about the same level for toys so you don’t waste hundreds of them,” another said.
However, others “couldn’t imagine” being “constantly” pregnant, even if it meant not having to manage a period every month.
“Ummm… even though it’s a joke, it’s not really funny,” one said.
