Amazon
For all the hard-to-shop-for people on your holiday list, gift cards are a safe option. They allow the gift recipient to pick out their own present and maybe even discover a new favorite place to shop.
During the Prime Early Access Sale, which began yesterday and runs through today, October 12, Prime members can get an extra kickback, too. You’ll receive a $10 Amazon credit when you purchase $50 gift cards for Amazon, Doordash, Panera, Gap, Fanatics, and more during the two-day deal event.
How to get the Amazon gift card deals
Amazon’s gift card deals can be a bit tricky because they have certain terms and conditions attached. You can only snag the $10 credit once per brand and you’ll have to use a promo code at checkout to apply the deal. Each gift card has its own unique promo code. (We’ve outlined the codes for the major brands in the section below.) Additionally, the gift card to Amazon’s own site is only valid for customers who haven’t purchased an Amazon gift card in the last 12 months. We’ve confirmed this with testing the codes on multiple accounts.
A foolproof way to make sure the gift card deal applies to your account at checkout is to look for this message once you apply the promo code:
You’ll see a congratulations message at the top of the “Review items and shipping” section, once for every promo code that was successfully applied.
