Rishi Sunak is awkwardly filmed asking a homeless person if he works in business while serving food at the shelter for Christmas.
The Prime Minister visited a homeless shelter in London run by the Passage on Friday.
While serving hot meals to visiting people, Mr. Sunak was asked by a man, “Are you managing the economy?”
“That’s exactly what I’m trying to do,” replies the prime minister, before asking the man, named Dean, if he works in finance.
“No, I’m homeless. I am actually a homeless person. But I’m interested in business, I like finance – it’s good for the city and if the finances are good, we’re all good, aren’t we?’ he responds.
