NRL champion James Tedesco has spent $5 million on a sprawling house in Hunters Hill in Sydney.

The NSW Blues and Roosters captain bought the five-bedroom, five-bathroom home in June with his fiancée Maria Glinellis, reports The Daily Telegraph

Located in one of the North Shore’s most desirable zip codes, the state-of-the-art resort-style spread last went under the hammer in 2014 for $3.25 million.

The 29-year-old State of Origin star bought the house at auction after it was listed with a $4.6 million price guide.
