Featuring a gorgeous hand-painted miniature of the young queen set in platinum, the order is only granted to female members of the royal family.

The Queen bestowed the honor on her daughter-in-law on her 60th birthday in 2007.

On her gown she wore the Grand Federal Order of Merit, which was awarded to her during her visit by the German President.

The stately tiara is more widely known as the Boucheron Honeycomb Tiara, however its official name is the Greville Tiara.

It was made by Boucheron for the Hon Mrs Greville (a well-known figure in society) in 1921 from stones salvaged from another crown.

Having no heirs, she left her large collection of jewelry to Queen Elizabeth (the future Queen Mother) when she died in 1942.

Her husband, King George VI, was unsure about accepting the jewels, so the inheritance was left in the vault for a few years before Queen Elizabeth decided to dust off the tiara.
