The country later announced military drills around Taiwan and a ban on imports from the country. </p> <p>China subsequently <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/china-sanctions-pelosi-and-family-revenge-for-taiwan-visit-2022-8">issued sanctions on Pelosi</a> and her family on Friday.
