In the now-viral video, Russ “announces” the dessert.
“Yeah, it’s just going to be an overpriced version of that,” he said, pointing to ice cream and Milo in a bowl.
“It’s Australian culture, it’s the greatest dessert in our lifetime, so I can’t wait.”
The video began with an image of what appears to be the restaurant’s promotion guide.
The photo showed two dates, the start date of the Milo McFlurry promotion and the end date, November 7.
Russ’ fans seemed equally impressed with the announcement.
Yeah, it’ll just be an overpriced version of that,’ he said, pointing to ice cream and Milo in a bowl.
‘Holy Shirt Bullets!! Also mix it with hot fudge sauce or flake to intensify it. This should be a permanent addition,” one man said.
‘It is a dream!’ said another.
‘I can’t wait for this, in the meantime I will do it at home.’
Some fans claim the restaurant launched its McFlurry franchise with Milo.
‘It was the OG McFlurry when they first came out!!! No one remembers! It was so good they used to add loads of Milo.
But it confused others.
“Where are you in Australia because I clearly remember there was Oreo, M’n’M and Crunchie,” a fan shared.
Another chimed in, “And the Nerds were the elite.”
Others begged Macca to add Milo to more of its products.
“I want thick milkshakes from Milo.”
